Flower & Sally Dynamic Duo’
Flower is an extremely sweet Harlequin Macaw, who has found her new best friend Sally. For the past 5 years, these two girls have been housed next to each other in two large cages. At nighttime, they sleep outside on top of each other’s cage. In the morning, they eat breakfast together, before going out into the aviary to play all day.
They seem to be best friends for life. Both of these macaws have been to numerous parrot shows as educational birds for children. We’d like to keep them together, there both extremely tame and sweet.
Flower, came to us from a lady who was suffering from a serious illness. We told this sweet lady we would try our best to keep her for educational purposes.
Sally was abandoned at the front door of an animal shelter 8 years ago, and has been one of our star attractions when we attend events. She holds up her leg and waves “Hi” to the crowd whenever she’s asked. She is always happy and cheerful, she is a joy to be around.
We hope to keep these two together to attend more public events.
