Pookie is an unusually docile and mostly quiet young Umbrella Cockatoo. He came to us without much information about his past. He is a tame boy who can have his small bouts of jealousy too. Pookie’s new home needs to have plenty of love. He can be trusted to stay on his cage or perch all day while being supervised.

Preferences: We recommend that Pookie live in a house with a small family of three or less with little or no competition for attention. His new home needs to be a calm, low traffic home that offers little stimulation and lots of love. We will not consider anyone under the age of 30. Umbrella Cockatoos can be vocal, so we won’t allow him to be placed in a duplex, condo, or apartment. We prefer to place Pookie locally so we can conduct a pre-adoption and post-home visit.
