Vega Birdy is one awesome African Grey. We believe that she is a female, and she hasn’t been DNA tested yet. Vega’ is a young 11 years old and can live up to 80 years old.

Yes, Vega has pulled out a few of her feathers; it appears that the follicles’ are still there, so her feathers will grow back with the right environment, diet and care.

Vega’ has only had 2 owners in her young life, and she has had a rough time due to human emergencies. Vega has recently started to feather pluck herself due to a stressful environment and odd hours of attention.
Vega, is one smart talkative gal who is good with men and women, and other animals. She will tolerate children if they behave well. When, once she is comfortable, Vega will start to mimic well over two dozen sounds and she talks up a storm for attention.
