Our Parrot Care Package Includes
All adopted parrots come with a cage, and our adopters also receive a custom two-door parrot bird carrier. In addition our veterans receive their first two months’ supply of our special seed mix combined with Volkmans Fruit & Goodies, shelled nuts, and Zupreem fruit pellets, and much more.
All of our veteran adopters receive:
- A – Wi-Fi camera to monitor their parrot when they are away
- 6 – 10oz. Bags of Lafebers Pellets
- 1 container of our special nut blend rub, along with 6 small containers of different nuts to create the blend
- 1 Magic Bullet Blender for preparing parrot chop and blending our nut blend powder
- A 1-quart rechargeable electronic misting bottle for showering their parrot
- We provide, 2 months’ worth of our special blend of seed mix with shelled nuts and dried fruits and vegies and pellets.
- 6 – 10oz. bags of Lafebers fruit Pellets
- 6 small containers of different shelled and unshelled nuts
- In addition we provide 3 educational books
- An Adopter’s Guide Book for their specific breed of parrot
- A Guide to a Well-Behaved Parrot
- A cookbook about parrot cuisine, focusing on parrot chop recipes
Adoption fees for veterans are reasonable, typically less than half of the retail price of the parrot, and include the parrot’s cage.
– Adoption fees vary based on factors such as the parrot’s size, age, history, and accompanying accessories.
– All adoption fees are significantly less than 50% of the normal retail cost of purchasing a parrot from a pet store.
– The veterans’ adoption fee also covers toys, a custom parrot carrier, and a two-week supply of specialized seed mix.
– Veterans receive a personalized, face-to-face tutorial on acclimating the parrot to its new environment.
– Information on diet, behavior traits, basic first aid, emergency procedures, and recommendations for parrot “Godparents” is provided.
– Adopters join a network of other veteran parrot owners in their region for support during emergencies.
– Veteran adopters have the option to purchase exclusive brand Manzanita products at wholesale cost.
