Emma is a special needs girl. She has suffered a minor liver infection and she is on the mend. Her Dr. is Dr. Litner of Avian Medical center in Lake Oswego. So if possible, we would like to place her locally.
Emma sings Opera, and a few other folk songs. Emma can speak over 2- dozen words so far, and has the intelligence to speak more.
Emma is an energetic 20 YO female Yellow Nape Amazon who loves her daily fresh chopped veggies
Emma is very trustworthy and is accustomed to being allowed to stay on top of her small floor cage all of her life. She will only go in too her cage to sleep and eat. She prefers to be near her companion, or on her shoulder, or watching cartoons. (With a carrot and apple slices)
Emma’ has a great appetite. She is a big foodie’! She has been spoiled with a large menu of all types of foods.
We’re seeking a lady to adopt Emma’ who can cook for her and allow her to remain out of her cage all day
We prefer that you live in a house to adopt Emma, due to her love of singing out loud. Amazons have a reputation of being vocal sometimes throughout the day and at bedtime.
Some Parrot experience is required to adopt her.
If you would like to adopt Emma, with cage and perch her adoption fee is reasonable for the right qualified person.
If you can offer Emma a nice environment, moreover if a sweet and affectionate home, she will cuddle with you while you scratch her.
