Mello is a very special 25-year-old female Double Yellow-Headed Amazon. We are going to be very selective about whom we place her with. Mello prefers women and will tolerate a few men. Again, we are going to be selective about who her new forever home will be.
Mello is an extremely bright Double Yellow-Headed Amazon that speaks over a dozen words, phrases, and sentences. Mello says, “Hi Mello!”, “Hello!”, “Goodbye”, “I’m a pickle!”, “Want a pickle?”, “Dill pickle”, “Pretty bird”, “Time out!”, “Michael”, “Mama’s baby bird”, and “Fire.” She is very intelligent and a bit of a shy girl. Her adoption fee includes her cage and a secondary cage for a spare room or for your deck.
We are seeking someone with experience with Amazons who can give her all the attention she deserves, preferably someone who works from home and can be with her every day. Mello doesn’t like being left alone and would like the company of other birds if possible.
No calls, please. The first step to adoption is to fill out our adoption application. All questions will be answered after we receive an adoption application.
If you have experience with Amazons and can understand the special qualities that Mello offers, please submit your application to adopt her, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
