Gia is one Awesome Blue Front Amazon, who doesn’t like children, but we just discovered that she craves for the attention of a man. Gia is a senior gal who is hand tame. Gia will step up for guys and like scratches from a man she learns to trust.
Gia, loves being outside, on top of her cage as much as possible. She also likes being outdoors as much as possible. Gia will tolerate ladies, but we’ve discovered that she wants prefers to have a man as her forever companion. Gia can be trusted to stay on a perch or her cage all day and night

- All adopters must now have at least 1 qualified Guardian or Godparent in the event of any unforeseen emergency. Preferably one who lives outside of their residence, within a 50 mile radius of the adopters’ home.

- Applicants’ must have a minimum of 1 years’ parrot handling experience to adopt from us, AND BE BETWEEN THE AGE OF 27 AND 65.
- You must currently reside at your current residence for a minimum of 2 years. Homeowners preferred but not mandatory.
- All adopters must now have a qualified Godparent, who lives outside of their residence.
- Due to Covid- you may need to provide your own transportation, large enough to carry a large parrot floor cage, & their supplies.
- In Lue of Not having a quad cab truck, large van or SUV to transport. We may consider delivery placement, as long as you reside within 150 miles of Portland, Oregon. With a required transportation fee required.
- In the event that you can’t provide transportation. You must also agree to any additional service & delivery fees that will be required to help offset the cost of our additional parrot sitter at the facility, and fuel expenses.
- We recommend that all adopters are homeowners, or at the very least have 2 year of residency at their current location.
- Please understand that we conduct meet and greet appointments first. Then, the parrot must like you, and we must feel confident that you can handle and care for any parrot prior to all adoptions.
