Goldy Boy, prefers a man as his handler, he will tolerate a lady for a shot while, and he has shown that he really prefers men. Goldy is one magnificent mature Cockatoo, with a good personality.
We can’t place Goldy into a small residence, like an apartment, duplex, condo, mobile home. We prefer to find someone that lives in a house or who has property is ideal.
Goldy, is a tame 18 year old tame boy, and he’s only had one owner his entire life (A Man) But he gets along well with women, but he prefers a man handler. Due to his one owner past, it means he hasn’t learned any real bad habits, nor has he been tormented, neglected, or abused by children.
Goldy is seeking a man who has some large parrot experience for his new home. We prefer not to place Goldy in a home with children.
Goldy has a wonderful disposition, and acts very mature for his age. He loves to perch on his tree, or act like a silent statue on his tree.
Goldy IS NOT accustomed to being locked up. He is very trustworthy, he will stay on his tree all day long, as long as he is supervised. The only time Goldy is in his cage is at bedtime.
So if you can’t offer Goldy his freedom out of his cage that he requires, then please don’t inquire to adopt him. We don’t want to break his spirit
Goldie’s adoption fee has been reduced for our veterans during this holiday season. To discover how low his adoption fee is, you must submit in your adoption application first. If you call or email us first, asking questions, your application will be denied.
Goldys low adoption fee will include his cage, his large tree and new toys. There will be an additional delivery fee if you live more than 100 miles away from Portland, Oregon. It’s important you meet Goldie first before to confirm he likes you any guarantee of adoption.
