Layla is a wonderful 6-year-old Opaline Quaker Parrot. We believe her to be a female, and we have discovered that she seems to prefer men. Layla had a rough transition adjusting to her past owner’s family. She seemed to be disgruntled and was chasing the family members around and nipping them. Since she has been with us, she has turned around 100% and has become affectionate.

Since Layla has been with us, she has become very friendly and loves scratches. She is quite the character and has a great personality. We have been told that she doesn’t like children, so we will not place her in a home with children. She does speak a few words and even barks like a dog at times.
