Murray is a lively, 20-year-old Goffin’s Cockatoo who absolutely loves to talk! He’s a semi-tame boy with a big personality, looking for a special someone to help him grow back his chest feathers and continue building his confidence.
Once Murray settles in, his chatter really shines. He knows more than 30 words (though some are a little silly and hard to understand). He proudly says his name, “hi,” “hello,” and even strings together a few broken sentences. With a little time and patience, Murray will only get better at showing off his talking skills!
Murray enjoys a healthy diet of fruits, veggies, and cooked foods. His adoption fee is very reasonable and includes his cage plus our reduced care package. Most of all, Murray needs an experienced, dedicated companion who can give him the love and attention he deserves.
While Murray has lived with a male companion in the past, we believe he’ll do just fine with either a man or a woman. What matters most is that his new person is kind, patient, and ready to give him a forever home.
