Tempie, aka Templar, was left unattended and free-roaming for most of his life. We would prefer that Tempie be placed with someone who has experience with African Greys.
He is a very curious boy and can be suspicious of new people, so we are seeking someone who will give him the love, patience, and much-needed attention he deserves. Tempie loves watching TV and has a healthy appetite. He enjoys fresh fruits and vegetables, although he still has a few leftover junk-food habits from his past.
He mimics the telephone, knows his name, and says, “Good night, Templar,” “Good boy,” and often entertains himself with amusing little monologues. Tempie can be a little timid around new people and dogs, so he will need time to adjust to his new companion.
Tempie truly is a wonderful boy who is looking for a loving home with someone who has the patience to help him continue building his confidence and become an exceptional companion. His adoption fee includes his cage and our care package.
