Templar is one energetic 18-year-old boy. Templar has not been handled much in his lifetime, so he will require an experienced bird handler. His previous owner was a man who didn’t have much time for him. Templar was allowed to climb out of his cage door and play on his Manzanita tree daily, which is included in his care package.
Templar is a little timid around new people. He was traumatized by a dog in his past and is now afraid of all dogs. He mimics the phone, knows his name, and will say, “Good night, Templar,” “Good boy,” and often has amusing monologues with himself.
He loves watching TV and is a good eater. He enjoys his fruits and veggies, along with some leftover junk food habits from his past. Templar truly is a good boy, and he’s looking for a loving home with someone who has the patience to work with him and help him become a wonderful companion.
Templar’s adoption fee is reasonable and includes his cage, Manzanita tree, and our generous care package.
