Sofia is a very sweet and cuddly female Galah Cockatoo, also known as a Rose-breasted Cockatoo.

Sofia is just 12 years old and can live up to 40 years with the right diet and a loving home. She has had a rough couple of years, so we are seeking a mature person to adopt her. We’re confident that with the proper diet, environment, and — most importantly — a truly loving person who can give her all the TLC she deserves, she will recover and regrow her feathers.
Sofia prefers the company of women. While she will tolerate a man responding to her, she truly thrives in the presence of a female. We prefer to place Sofia in a home with at least some experience handling medium or large birds. That said, experience isn’t strictly necessary, as she is very docile and sweet-natured.
Sofia’s adoption includes a specially arranged, high-quality cage with additional therapy perches for her sleeping comfort. Her adoption fee also includes our very generous care package
