Spencer, a young girl of 11, has had a troubled past. She was living in a guest room with no interaction except a radio down the hallway. She is tame, but was left alone most of the time after her owner passed away. Spencer plucked some of her feathers in the past, but she has become part of the flock and her feathers are growing back nicely.

Spencer loves to eat when you eat, and she will try new foods. It took some time for her to get comfortable enough to come out of her cage, but now she loves to be out and has become very social. When Spencer is away from her cage, she will sit on your shoulder and hang out with you. From time to time, she will take a bath in her water bowl.

Spencer is a good talker, and learns words and sounds very quickly. In the morning she says “hello,” and when you leave she says “goodbye” and “see you later.” She also says “hi,” “I’ll be back,” and many more words and phrases.

Spencer loves music. When you play a song that she likes she will dance to it and make the sound of snapping fingers. She loves to whistle and play with the bell that is in her cage.

Preferences: Spencer prefers the company of men over the age of 30.  She is a loving bird that will make any single man a wonderful companion.

Adoption fee: $450.00, includes a medium floor cage.
