These two are very special birds. They require a very special seed diet, with fresh fruits and veggies. No Junk food, they won’t accept junk food. They had wonderful prior parents who took very good care of them. They require a stress free peaceful environment.
Fortunately, this dynamic duo, Robbie and Tango/ Tongo, are exceptionally tame and well-behaved. They do not require much previous experience with larger birds, but it’s essential that their future adopter understands their special needs and can commit to maintaining their healthy routine.
If you are applying to adopt, it’s crucial that you check your email regularly so we can coordinate the interview and meet and greet.
Robbie and Tango are very talkative, intelligent, and affectionate. They’ve only had one previous owner who took excellent care of them, so they don’t have any bad habits or behavioral issues.
At one point, they were housed in the same cage, which unfortunately started to cause some aggression issues with Robbie. Since separating them into individual cages, they’ve become much happier and more content. However, they are bonded and must be adopted together—separating them would likely cause serious behavioral issues, and we have made a commitment to their previous owner that they will stay together.
Their reduced adoption fee includes both of their cages and our reduced sized care package.
Again, please refrain from emailing us in advance or calling in advance with questions.
We appreciate your patience and will get back to you promptly.

*It’s important for you to reply back in a timely fashion. We have a tight timeline, and time spent on potential adopters who are not ready may result in a parrot losing its forever home to a potential adopter who is ready.
